About the Conference
The Long Island Library Conference was held on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
The conference is an educational forum for all those who work in and for libraries. Held annually to provide innovative and informational programs as well as networking opportunities to improve the quality of the public, special, school and university libraries of Long Island, the Conference is organized and sponsored by the Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA) and the Nassau County Library Association (NCLA).
Attendance at the conference has often topped the one thousand mark. Directors, trustees, librarians, support staff, teachers, friends of libraries and scores of others find the conference a great place to catch up with old friends, make new friends, and learn what's new in the field.
Next year's conference will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Watch for more details.
